The Curious Incident Of The Dog In the Night Time
I as well really enjoy reading this book. The fact that it is written through a perspective of a boy with autism and how it is written by someone who has not ever had autism is pretty dope. It is really fascinating to know how Christopher reacts, understands others and just how he interrupts things. I like this book because I can connect to it. I get distracted very easily like Christopher and starting thinking about irrelevant topics. For me, this book is really easy and entertaining to read because the writing isn't using any complicated words and each chapter has it's own significant meaning; its not in order. This book is enjoyable and educational, just like my fellow classmates I did not know what a prime number meant but, now I do after reading this book. Compare to other novels I've read, this one is the most peculiar book I've ever read in my life and I'm loving it for once! Can't wait to read more. :)

Good job Sukhleen I like the way you related to Christopher and the personal connection makes a lot of sense to me.
ReplyDeleteGreat job with your connections to the book, I like how you compared how you get distracted to Christopher. I also think that it's pretty cool how this book is written through the perspective of a boy with autism when the author dosen't have it. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI agree. (also neuf needs to read faster)
ReplyDeleteI like the book too! It's interesting how the things going on around christopher is complicated, but he filters out the information he doesn't really care about, so it sounds simple
ReplyDeleteGreat idea here... I want to hear more about what problems we may need to consider about the author. The author DOESN'T have autism... so how accurate can his perspective of autism be? Wouldn't it be better to read a book by someone who actually HAS autism?
ReplyDeletegood job explaining why you like the book
ReplyDeleteGood job connecting and giving examples how you connect
ReplyDeleteDo you like that the book in Prime numbers?
